I am building a 4 display set up and am using this to hover a 22 inch Vizio HDTV above a 23 inch HP monitor. It just clears it. I had purchased another ergotron model but the pole didn't hover the Vizio high enough so I called Ergotron and they said get this model instead. Office Depot was nice enough to allow me to return the previous product to the store even though I had purchased it online. The display stays put and doesn't move unless I want it to. You can tighten and loosen it for easier movement. Office Depot has a 3M model that rose half an inch higher but was also 50 dollars more. I felt that the extra half inch clearance didn't justify the price increase. Overall I like this product and will continue using it.
